CLEF 2025 Registration

CLEF 2025 will be an in-person conference. Online registration will only be accepted under special circumstances. In-person registration will be accepted until 31 August 2025 at 12 noon CEST. Please, note that the venue has a limited capacity of 175 attendees.

Registration fees

Fees are in Euros (€) - VAT included.

Important: Please note that all papers being presented at the conference, including at lab sessions, must have at least one of their authors registered.

  • Admission to all conference and lab sessions

Registration Fee Waivers for Students


CLEF 2025 has secured sponsorship from the Friends of SIGIR program for a number of registration fee waivers for students. The registration includes access to all components of the event including social events (full access will be granted to online participants). The rest of the expenses (e.g., travel and accomodation) will not be covered by the grant and come at the expense of the participants.

Preference will be afforded to

  • Students who are authors of a paper accepted to CLEF 2025.
  • Students who are authors of one (or more) participant papers at any of the CLEF 2025 Labs.
  • Students coming to CLEF 2025 from developing countries.
